Training

Our educational programs are divided into two basic parts:

  1. Vocational, preparation programs.

  2. Professional short-course programs.

  1. Vocational, preparation programs.

To meet the pressing need of the local industrial community we developed several long-term training programs with commitment to upgrade lower level staff of local industry into technical expertise.  Some of the objectives can be better achieved through collective programs (e.g. technical plus English language), while the choice is strictly for the employer of the trainee.  Among these programs are:

1.          Technical Vocational Training which include electrical, electronics, or computer training.

2.          Administrative Assistant Training which prepares the trainee for administrative jobs such as secretarial activity, human resource staff, etc.

3.          English Language Program which builds the English language for the trainee as a second language from scratch to reach a competent, conversant speaker, reader, and writer.  The program is made of 7 levels, each level requiring 96 training hours, and the training is focused on English Structure, Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.  The trainee must successfully complete set of examinations before he/she is moved to the next level.  The 7th level will be preparation for the TOEFL exam, which most of our trainees complete successfully.

4.          Preparation Program: -  Qiyas  examination - which measures the educational skills of the high school student - is compulsory for high school graduates who intend to go to college in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (in Arabic language).  RAM II examination - which measures the educational collective knowledge of the high school student in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English language - is optional (not compulsory) for high school graduates.  But depending on the grade attained, it adds points to the student and gives him competitive advantage. (seasonal training with government school closings).

Our program prepares the trainee for these examinations.

5.          CDPNE Preparation Program:  This program is tailor-maid specifically for high school graduates who are targeting the university scholarship program at Saudi Aramco.  This program is designed to polish the expertise and knowledge of the elite, top-achiever, most motivated high school students specifically in mathematics and English language.

6.          ITC (Industrial Training Center) Acceptance Preparation Program:  Saudi Aramco has its own vocational training facility (Industrial Training Center - ITC).  Bud due to the high competition among candidates, Saudi Aramco has established high acceptance criteria plus an examination.  Our program is designed to assist the candidate to meet those criteria and successfully complete the examination.  In this program we focus on high school level mathematics and English language (up to level 5).

  1. Professional short-course programs.

II. OIL & GAS INDUSTRY

Saudi Arabia has been and will continue to be short of professional expertise in the oil and gas industry. The majority of our task force is expatriate hands, despite efforts by the major industry companies to bridge the gap. Through internal training, these major companies have brought few national hands to the grip of this profession. By now we already have a good number of professional workers in the field, but the demand is drastically increasing.

Our goal is to assist in the development of skilled and semi-skilled national employees in this highly challenging, highly demanding, highly rewarding profession.

IV. Operations Management

Operations management has rarely taken enough attention in technical, industrial environments. Many of thee “operations managers” are tuned to “perform the operations” not to “manage” the operation. The end result is many highly professional technical experts lack the management skills to manage the plant.
Our objective is to provide management education to non-management professionals to groom them for management tasks in there are of expertise. We provide training in operations management, finance, economics, marketing, HR and personnel development, and business relations.
